Project DiaStar are pleased to announce their latest release of the DiaStar Server.
V2.2 adds the following functionality:
- H.264 video support with transcoding
- G.722 wideband codec support
- G.729 codec support
- Video overlays - Allowing static images and and captions to be created dynamically by the client. This simplifies the task of building menus as it relieves the application developer from having to create every image in advance and having to maintain these as the application evolves
