Project DiaStar is an open source project that also includes access to closed-source components from Dialogic® that provide value added functionality. 

DiaStar Overview

  • DiaStarTM Server -  The DiaStar™ Server (DSS) provides media and signalling services via the Woomera protocol. DSS can deployed as a media gateway, signaling gateway, or media server in conjunction with Asterisk® or any other platform implementing a Woomera Client.

  • chan_woomera - Asterisk Woomera client channel driver.

  • mod_woomera - FreeSWITCH Woomera client channel driver.
